The beach is back – Cardiff will once again create its own seafront with the return of the Capital FM Cardiff Bay Beach (Friday July 28 – Sunday September 3), to entertain families throughout the school holidays.
The urban beach, which has become such a hit in the Bay in recent years, is again expected to attract a quarter of a million people to the Cardiff waterfront, with a bucket full of traditional seaside attractions.

LAST NIGHT OF THE WELSH PROMS

One of the great dates in Cardiff’s annual concert diary – the Last Night of the Welsh Proms! Enjoy a feast of beloved classics in an atmosphere of high spirits, all under the inestimable leadership of Owain Arwel Hughes.
This year’s Last Night also features the technical brilliance & panache of international brass soloist David Childs, and the world premiere performance of a new work by Military Wives Christmas Number One & Royal Wedding music composer Paul Mealor, plus of course with all the usual fun, frolics & Last Night grandeur.

CASTLE COCH & TAFF TRAIL BIKE TOUR
Join us for a guided tour of the Taff Trail, heading north to the quaint town of Tongwynlais and visiting Castle Coch.
Starting at 11am every Monday-Thursday we cycle from Cardiff City Centre north along the Taff Trail as far as Tongwynlais and to Castle Coch, a historic castle nestled in the hillside. We stop for refreshments along the way and you’ll have chance to go inside the castle and take a look around before cycling back down to Cardiff City Centre.
